Plaato continuously measures the CO2 flow from the fermenter, allowing it to determine the total CO2 produced during fermentation. Utilizing the principle that CO2 and ethanol are created in equal proportions during fermentation, PLAATO can estimate specific gravity (SG), alcohol percentage, and quantify fermentation activity effectively.
